BORL has always shown its concern for health and wellbeing of villagers surrounding its premises and committed for improving the wellbeing of nearby villagers. BORL strongly believes that affording better health care facility is one of the most essential strides in developing the nearby community. In line with this, “Vivekanand Kendra BORL Hospital” with latest medical equipment and a capacity of 30 beds has been established for providing best medical care and  facilities.  

 

To address the health and well-being of the villagers surrounding its premises and improvement of their health, “Swasthya Sewa” programme was introduced at the V.K.BORL hospital.

Following are the major facilities provided under “Swasthya Sewa” 

·         Medical care for senior citizens above the age of 65 years.

·         Medical care for patients who constitute the category of  Below Poverty Line (BPL)

·         Medical care for pregnant women along with necessary ante natal care.

·         Medical care for children below the age of 10 years.

·         Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) across villages to cater to the health needs of people regularly.

·         Medical camps are organized to nurse the patients at regular intervals.

The second programme is "Sanjeevani”.  In this programme, the children suffering detrimental effects of malnutrition are provided with special dietary supplements and medicines by the VK BORL Hospital on a regular basis.

In addition, the VK BORL hospital organises regular medical / health check-up camps in villages by sending a team of doctors with medicines in their mobile van. 

Apart from the various services provided by the hospital, BORL offers major services such as,

·         Free Treatment for senior citizens above the age of 65 years and to the patients below poverty line (BPL).

·         Free Medical check-ups for pregnant women with necessary maternity care.

·         Medical consultation for the children below 10 years at very nominal charges.

·         Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) operating across the villages to cater to the patients regularly.
