BORL Contributed to PM CARES FUND for COVID19 Prevention

India is witnessing unprecedented times following the spread of Nobel Corona Virus (Covid-19). This had been declared as a public health emergency of International Concern by WHO. The current situation in India and across world is of grave concern and needs immediate attention. We are fully supportive of the swift actions taken by the central, state government and local administrative bodies to protect the public health. BORL is working in tandem with Govt. Authorities and doing our best to protect our communities and fellow countrymen.
This is time when all that matters are the lives of our countrymen and we need to do anything & everything it takes. As a responsible corporate citizen, Bharat Oman Refineries Limited (BORL) has always been frontrunner in supporting noble causes and also in matter of national concern.
BORL had contributed Rs. 15 crores in addition to Rs.10 crore donated previously, in the PM CARES FUND. To join the fight BORL employees also contributed Rs.19 lacs from their salary in the PM CARES FUND. This all is for humanitarian aid and for beefing up healthcare support targeted at containment and treatment of the pandemic.
This pandemic has been posing severe health and economic difficulties for our country. Government have been working diligently to contain pandemic and for sufferer’s care/recovery. Though the Government has earmarked funds for tackling the issue but the need of time is much greater.
BORL continue their pledge to protect and empower all affected communities, in this endeavor BORL through its social initiatives’ health programs motivating local villagers for healthy hygiene practices to support the initiatives taken by the Government to tackle the COVID-19 outbreak for the wellbeing of the countrymen.
