BORL received Best Pavilion award at Bhopal Vigyan Mela 2019

The 8th edition of the Bhopal Vigyan Mela was organized from 13th to 16th September 2019 at BHEL Dussehra Ground, Bhopal. The theme for the Bhopal Vigyan Mela was “Innovation, Development & Achievements”. Mela was inaugurated by the honorable Minister of Madhya Pradesh Mr. P C Sharma. This year BORL showcased its contribution in development of community, environment and its achievements and innovations in varied fields.
The BVM 2019 dignitaries appreciated the displays at the stall and expressed their happiness at the contributions, achievements and innovations being made by BORL. The refinery operations were depicted by means of models which showed the crude distillation process and a refinery prototype. This helped to demonstrate fractional distillation of crude at refinery. This attractive model was a crowd puller. The school and college students crowding the stall in large numbers.

The visitors of the Mela thronged to our interactive science models, refinery prototype, refining process model and product display set up at our stall. The stall had a lot of interactive experiments in physics, chemistry and biology which engaged visitors. Some of these experiments included the solar/lunar eclipses, earth movement, periscope, a model of a human body with removable part, low cost models to demonstrate buoyancy, pressure, temperature, optical illusion etc.

For its untiring efforts, BORL received the award of the “1st Best Pavilion at the Bhopal Vigyan Mela 2019”. This was a recognition to the pioneering work being done by BORL in promoting the energy needs of India and ushering in inclusive development and innovations.
