Bharat Oman Refineries Limited is the first company to operate its refinery in Central India.

Along with meeting the energy needs of the nation, ensuring sustainable development of our region and transform existing challenges into unique strengths that can be harnessed for national building. In doing so, the Company is guided by the principles that CSR initiatives are sustainable and have a lasting impact

The CSR activities would be undertaken in the state of Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat and preferably in the nearby areas of the refinery at Bina, Crude Oil Terminal at Vadinar, nearby areas of the Vadinar Bina pipeline.

CSR Policy

BORL’s CSR Policy is approved by the Board as per the new Companies Act 2013 and a CSR Committee has been constituted. The Board is the approving authority for the CSR budget which is a part of the approved Annual Business plan.

CSR Committee

The CSR Committee of the Board consists of four directors and headed by an external director. All the CSR projects are required to be approved by this committee.


The CSR Projects/Programs related activities to be undertaken by the Company are specified in Schedule VII of the Companies Act 2013, and amendments thereof. At present these activities are as follows:


The CSR Committee shall review the progress of projects on a periodic basis.
